Hilary got asked out on her first date! Grandpa called and asked her to go to the U of U gymnastics meet last Friday night. On the phone, she gave grandpa an unenthusiastic "yeah" when he asked if she wanted to go, but after he hung up, then she showed her excitement! We put curlers in her hair, dressed her up cute, and packed her overnight bag. Grandpa came and picked her up and she ran out to the car with him without looking back. It's really cute now, but I think it will be a little harder in 14 years when her date isn't grandpa Jim. :)
