This year we wanted to start some family traditions now that Hilary is old enough to understand and participate. Thanksgiving morning we all sat in the front room to write down and color what we are thankful for. We started by explaining why we celebrate Thanksgiving, and then we traced our hands to make turkeys and wrote down what we were thankful for in the turkey feathers. This was Hilary's list: Daddy, Mommy, bubbles, Jamie, Jesus, and then quote "all of the people I love." (She is so sweet!) After the three of us finished our pictures, we decided to trace Eden's hand and make a picture for her too. The hand tracing didn't go very well, so her turkey is kinda deformed! We started making her list: Hilary, Daddy, Mommy, milk.... Then we told Hillie to ask Eden what she was thankful for. She went right up to Eden's face and asked, "Are you thankful for Jesus?" Then told us "She said yes."
Even though Hilary seems to resent her sometimes, she really does love her little sister!
