We like Halloween at the Kane house. For Hilary's first Halloween (2005), we were so excited to be the Flinstones after seeing the mop of red hair she had when she was born! I would have to say our costumes turned out pretty well. I hardly recognized Dave with black hair!
We were in Pueblo the next year and Hilary dressed up in an Old Navy chicken costume. She walked around saying "bawk bawk bagawk!!" It was really cute. (can't get the darn pic to load!)
Then the next year (2007) we watched Pixar's "The Incredibles" like every single day (Hilary's pick), so we became the Incredibles! Violet is invisible. :)
And now this year. We wanted our big-eyed Eden to be Yoda, so we chose "Star Wars." Dave is Obi Wan Kenobi, I am Leia, Eden is Yoda, and Hilary randomly decided she wanted to be a "nice, green dragon with seatbelts on her tail". So she was Greedo.

Wow, I must be a bad mom! Kyle and I never dress up. Oh well, at least I make sure the kids are in costume and looking great!
You make a gorgeous Leia! I love family costume themes, but I just didn't have the energy this year. I hope I'll get to see the costumes live at the ward thing on Saturday!

HA!! I love it! I never saw the Flinstones one! You guys are so creative. Tell David he could've used a little more chub in the Flinstones picture though, that'll make him feel good :) I love Yoda's EARS!! ha ha :) p.s. Thanks again for the Goldilocks and the 3 bears idea!

I LOVE all the costumes from Hilary's first (cutest ever) right on down to now!!! Yoda is amazing! I see you're putting guilt trips on all your friends for this. Let's see....what could Grandpa and I be this year? Hmmmm..... Actually, Halloween night is our temple night. I don't think we'll be very busy.
